DigiTimes has reported that Nintendo has placed extra orders with InvenSense, a component supplier who makes the rate gyroscope which is used in the upcoming MotionPlus Peripheral. The company has also forwarded a part payment to InvenSense in advance with this regard. This is an indication that the Japanese game maker company has strong growth prospects despite the weak economy.

It suggests that probably Nintendo is increasing their expected sale of Wii Sports Resort by increasing their estimate of MotionPlus demand. According to sources, the demand for game consoles always remains strong like that of Nintendo Wii, Microsoft XBox, and Sony PS3 due to the benefited sales of related component suppliers.
