The legions of Sonic the Hedgehog fans may have seen the supposed screenshots and video clips on the Web.  You may have heard that Sega was owning up to the existence of Sonic Unleashed.  Then, you may have heard it was all a rumor.

Talk on the 'Net now has Sonic Unleashed being developed by Sega designers on three continents.  The developers in the U.S., Japan, and Europe are said to be working on a re-launch of the famous Sega character and bringing him into the 3-D world.   What platforms, you ask?  Word has it that a Wii version is in the works.  Oh, and Xbox 360 as well.

Will Wii Fit actually help melt away the pounds?  The whole world will come closer to the answer to that question on March 26th.  The Science Museum in London will be home to a (Nintendo-sponsored) Wii Fit-centric event called "Play Away the Calories".  During the event, Wii Fit's ability to help burn calories will be calculated.

Health and fitness experts will be speaking on a variety of health-related topics, such as obesity.  With childhood obesity become an epidemic in America, this may be good news for everyone.  It sounds like a great time and suggests that Nintendo really trusts the product to take it out for such a public test drive.

You've got a band, a demo, and Rock Band for the Wii. At some point, you're going to have the (not-so-novel) idea, "Dude, it would be so sweet to have our song on this game!", so we'll save you the time. Greg LoPiccolo of Rock Band developer Harmonix has had the same idea and he feels your pain.

While there is no official gameplan to make this a reality, LoPiccolo believes that such a concept is the "natural direction" for Rock Band. He calls such it a "complicated topic" but also says that "we would like to make it possible." So, does that mean that we'll be singing badly on purpose some time in the future?

Once again, the U.S. is being passed over on the waiting list for Wii Fit. After selling 1+ million copies in Japan, Wii Fit will drop in Europe on April 25. It will then make its way across continents to...Australia!

When does the U.S. get a chance to work out in front of the TV? On May 19, that's when. For all of you out there waiting for the Wii Fit to melt away the pounds, you've got a couple more months to pig out.

Mario Kart DS has been out for awhile and it's been quite a popular game. The game that people are REALLY waiting for is Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii. It's in the works and will be coming out sometime soon, but some game reviewers already have an early copy. They ended up comparing the DS version with the new Wii version.

They noted that a popular map, Yoshi Falls, has returned, but the track alone wasn't that interesting. However, the fact that now there is four extra carts in every race which will make the circuit actually challenging. The game looks amazing on the Wii as well and it's a huge leap forward but that's to be expected since we're comparing the DS.

Everyone knows Steven Spielberg, the genius who makes amazing movies and usually charges amazing amounts of money to make them. Did you know he recently to move into new territories such as video games? His new game is called BLOOM BLOX and it's a puzzle game published by EA.

The funny thing is that the box art is very loud and crazy, but it only has Steven Spielberg written in small letters. I personally think it'd sell better if they made Steven Spielberg in large letters and then Bloom Blox in small letters. Other than that, this better be the best dang puzzle game ever for Spielberg to put his name on it.

There is "deal" going on with The Consumerist where you can lease to own your very own Wii.  It only takes 79 dollars a month for twelve months!  That is just insane.

You would be much better off to open a new credit card and pay 79 dollars a month.  I hope people realize that this is a scam.  I mean there are enough scams and banks out there taking our money.

This is your new blog post. Click here and start typing, or drag in elements from the top bar.Major League Eating is set to be released on Wii Ware soon.  I am really not sure about this whole concept.  It could be fun for about a half an hour, but I don't think must past that.

I think there must be a line somewhere as to what is just not going to make sense as a video game.  However, they will release anything in hopes something catches on.
