Are you waiting for the third part of the famous video game series Pikmin? Your wait ends here as it is rumored that a UK based retailer, Play.com, has announced that it will be launching Pikmin 3 on March 27th 2009. So it’s only less than an year when the game will be at your doorsteps! Pikmin video game series have previously been popular for its two video games titled, Pikmin and Pikmin 2. Initially, the game series was developed by Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto. The announcement about Pikmin 3 was made at the 2008 E3 Tradeshow in July.

If the rumored date of Pikmin 3 release is to be believed, we may ponder over certain thoughts like isn’t 27th March 2009 a very unlikely date to present any new product in the market? Moreover, the day of the release i.e., Friday coincides with the day when games are usually launched in Euroland. The one certain and positive aspect of this specific date is to give assurance to the audiences that Pikmin 3 will be surely launched on the same date. As of today, there are hardly any developers that may write down a specific date of game launch with so much surety.

E3 has been considerably labeled as a disappointment and a disaster. It also has been a failure in bringing any major development. The famous Wedbush Morgan analyst and man Michael Pachter, have recently stated that the time has arrived to look forward towards the Dodo, the Quagga, and decent sonic games rather than limiting yourself to E3. While referring to the investors, he further adds in his note titled, ‘Entertainment Software: E3 2008 Review: The Bad, The Great, and The Boring’ that E3 have brought with itself an era that will only be remembered for its ill fate and extinction.

Michael believes that the time has come for E3 to come to an end and take on new things to regain success in future. Like Pachter, many other major figures in the industry have criticized E3 before and have unanimously raised their voice against it. According to Pachter, E3 should be pulled back by early June in order to maintain the consistent standards of the industry. Though, on Nintendo’s part, Pachter considered Big N’s presentation to be suitable. He also thought out about the complaints that other core gamers made against the event.  

E3 complaints have now become a never ending story. It was once again a day of complaints for E3. Alain Corre of Ubisoft complained of size and location of E3, which according to him should be bigger. The Bigger, the better, he says. In the party CEO of Electronics Arts, John Riccitiello commented on E3 stating very clearly that he hates E3. A much more was expected from E3 which it failed to prove. This year is going to be a bad one for E3 it seems!

Adding fuel to the fire, Ubisoft’s Laurent Detoc too commented on the performance of E3. According to him, E3 is terrible this year, before the E3 had the world with it. Now E3 is like a pipe-fitter showing in the basement. The poor performance which pulled just 5000 media representatives this year against 60000 last year, has arouse a debate whether E3 should be a world show or a media event. Now with EA and Ubisoft they have tried to put resources on a better display to pull a massive crowd on the floor. Now to see the results we have to wait and watch.

Exploiting the power of technology Tomb Raider Underworld shows high definition visual effects with incredible effects. Lara Croft should hunt larger than life environments, seen with exquisite and detailed clarity.

Solving mind-boggling puzzles, facing supernatural enemies the characters have the aid of enhanced weapons and abilities, as they explore the secrets of the past. Tomb Raider Underworld includes a lot of elements like  exciting story lines,  unbelievable discoveries, advanced game mechanics, impressive reveals, dangerous new enemies both animals and supernatural, amazing and beautiful locales. Tomb Raider Underworld revolves around Lara Crofts adventurous trail. Creative Director Eric Lindstrom and Lead Artist Eric Neuburger deserve appreciation for their marvelous work.

This week witnessed the launch of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon. It was a much awaited relief for the eager gamers. People who love chocobo, dungeon and Square Enix have one thing in common- they need something to have fun. They want to play and enjoy! They don’t want to miss the action. The harsh critics of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon also seems to have liked it. They gave it a green signal without a second thought. But the important judgment would be from you all! Here is some healthy news for you!  European publisher JoWood and its partner Tivola will come together to start a yoga inspired game for the Wii consoles. Folks! Tivola is the same company that came up with awesome looking Music Monstars for the Nintendo DS. JoWood and Tivola will call it Wii: Yoga and will be one entertaining concept and may make you inspire you to dissert you couch potatoes for a while. It’s all exciting and healthy!  We are still scouting for more information about the Wii: Yoga from both JoWood and Tivola.

Wii: Yoga is expected to be launched by the second quarter of 2009 in Europe. Wii: Yoga will use the balance board. For all you American gamers, you may have to wait a bit before it’s launched in the US. There are no immediate details about possible release date in the US.  A few weeks ago Intellisponse report revealed the coming of Wii: Yoga among other new titles. It’s been reported that Activision or Disney will release the Wii: Yoga in the US. So we may have to wait and watch until it’s released in the US and Europe.

For people in US it’s a day to look back and salute our national heroes who got us independence. It’s more than a holiday for Americans. It marks our quest for equality and freedom. Well, we don’t want to bombard you with all the information of US history out there but we do want to share the importance of 4th July this year with our readers as it embodies the spirit of democracy and free spirit. Its real entertainment and wonderful! It’s like tossing the game in a game genie! But should out get over excited, here is a thought for you. You need to go out there and buy this thing in order to enjoy all the ninety nine portable games.

Though Nintendo owns a number of versions of the DVD playing machines in the market, there is no news from the company about ant DVD model integrated with their latest favourite with the masses Wii. This has shocked a few of the companies’ regular clients. But, people say that it is obvious that one will be launched after a few days though. Wii has obtained worldwide fame and a great demand too. And thus, the expectations from the company are high. But the company shows no signs of launching one.

A report from the stock holding people meeting says that with the demand for the brand new Wii increasing worldwide, they will be launching a new DVD playing version integrated with this brand new work of Nintendo. If this does not happen, the consumers might get disappointed. So, it’s new work for Nintendo again to design a Wii version of DVD machine and release the model world wide as soon as possible in the market.  Though many people are concerned with this DVD Wii issue, the gamers are busy with their games and don’t even care for it. Do they?

Nintendo has put up 15 games on their Japan virtual console site. That’s more than the company has launched in the last month. The company launched 6 games the last month. Japan is not just supplied games by Nintendo but a few more companies too. Thus, this July, Japan is going to have loads of games on its plate to enjoy. This is good news for all the gamers. And if you wish to catch any one of the game, rush to Japan.

The favourite and the most talked about game to be launched is the Fire Emblem: thracia 776. This game was recently released on a game download service called as the Nintendo power. Though the games run on the lines of the previous releases of the game they have some really interesting new features which will make the players and gamers watch in awe.  The games seem from nowhere the copies of these older games due to their attractive features and names. The games to be launched are for all the age groups and there is at least one game for each group thus, age is no bar.
