It was already predicted earlier that there will be major shortfall in the Wii products as the holiday season is coming nearer. Chief Financial Advisor, David Carlson admitted in a conference call that Wii Fit and Guitar Hero: World Tour is very much in demand and they are short in supply as they sell as quickly as they hit the stores. He also added that the Wii hardware in spite of being in a very good supply right now will be well out of stock by the holiday season. This was in addition to another executives claim that the Stop’s inventory would be empty by the first week of December.

This shows that if a major name like GameStop is running out of stock then there has to be a number of other places where there would be a shortage of Wii.
